AUSTIN

Horses are a way of life for so many of us. There is something about horse people that make us unique. No matter what breed we ride we all share that common bond of the love that we have for these beautiful creatures that God has given us. So, Our hope is that the story we are about to share with you will indeed inspire your heart

My husband, Larry Stewart and I would like you to meet a family who came into our lives because of horses. Our hearts have been deeply touched as we saw them struggle as their youngest child, Austin who was diagnosed with A. L. L. Leukemia in April 2001. Austin underwent multiple series of chemotherapy He was such a brave little boy to face all those treatments he underwent each week. It is so difficult and heartbreaking to watch this child suffer and not be able to take that pain away from him.

As each week passed, the chemotherapy has changed this little boy and made him face fear and pain that no mother would ever want her child to experience. However, he nor his family, friends, and anyone that knew Austin ever gave up on the power of healing. Prayer is such a powerful tool.

I am so happy to tell you that Austin ended his chemotherapy treatments in June of 2004 and is now in remission. Our hearts overflow with happiness for this family but we are deeply saddened because we know there are so many others that need our help.
