In
Loving Memory
Dylan
Cash Richards
Our sweet little baby will
be missed beyond words. His five year struggle with a
chronic disease is now over and his gentle spirit is safely in
Gods loving hands . We know that Dylan touched so many
lives in his short five years, and because of him we have been
introduced to many others that have enriched our lives, from the
nurses and care partners at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to
T.H.I.S. cares organization. We can not begin to express our
gratitude for all the help T.H.I.S. cares has given and we
sincerely hope that the organization can continue raising money
to help other families in need, not only have you helped
with our financial burden throughout Dylan's many hospital stays
but you are also a source of comfort in the way you have shown
genuine compassion and concern for what our family was going
through. What A Blessing! Thank You All So Much, The
Richards Family
Larry
I have just now had time to sit down and let you know what
happened I would call but my cell phone is dead. Friday morning
March 3rd I had just started work and I got a phone call from my
dad he said it was urgent, when I called my dad back he said
Pittsburgh had called and they had a donor for Dylan. Last week
my dad had talked to someone at a small airport in Murfreesboro
and a charter flight service had volunteered flying us for free,
so my dad called them and we went to Pittsburgh we were there in
about 5 hours. Dylan did not get to receive the transplant
because the donors intestines did not look good another child
was called in to receive the liver. We had to return home
Saturday morning. Hopefully the next time we are called we will
get our transplant and everything will be OK. I am going to send
you the receipts for when we went in February and the receipts
for this trip as soon as I have a minute to get everything
together. I had to book flights back home Saturday morning with
the airlines for me, Timmy, and Evonne I think they were around
$150 per ticket they let Dylan ride in our lap. Call whenever I
will have my phone charged by tomorrow. I just wanted to let you
know it could happen anytime. We love you all and hope that
Joanna is feeling better and that you are doing fine also. Carla
